Born in Borgerhout
(near Antwerp), Belgium on the 21st May of 1936, in the
midst of an artistic family. Her father died at an early age, while her mother took charge of raising of her five young children. Bertha was sent to the Antwerp Academy in 1956 and graduated in the class of 1965. She was honoured with following
prizes for art: Her work has been exhibited throughout Belgium and all over the world. |
