“Space” is inspired by Mannerism, with my predilection like Italian artists to emulate the style (maniera) of their predecessors – famous masters such as Rafael and Michelangelo.

The male body has become just a shadow, a line, a sketch in “space”.

Yet there is still enough detail left to recognize a figure, but also the details of the body hair are very fine to find on the skin.
